Missions and Christian Outreach
Ministry

We have supported short term missions in Colombia, Mexico, Romania, Guatemala, Africa, the Philippines, Post-Katrina Louisiana, Michigan, and rural Appalachia.

We are joining with other churches to sponsor Grant and Miho Buchholtz in Japan and Cathy Campobello in Colombia.

We participate in the following active local missions and regional ministries. Volunteers are needed in all these areas, and we encourage you to choose one or more to which you can devote your heart. 

Local agencies and their needs are listed on the bulletin board in the Narthex. Your time commitment may be as little as 1-2 hours or as much as you can spare. These ministries would also appreciate donations of materials or money as well as your prayers.

• Christian Aftercare Ministries/Helping Hands, Manchester,  NH. 
  Christian support for men during their imprisonment and subsequent release from prison.
  

• Care Net, Manchester, NH. 
  Christian counseling provided to women during pregnancy.
  The 2010 Baby Bottle Benefit results are in!  Thanks to all who donated over $865 so far.
  Some bottles are still out there...
  

• Kid's Café (a ministry of the Salvation Army, Manchester,  NH).  
  Birthday parties for inner city children involved in the Salvation Army's childrens' meals and activities ministry.
   
  
  

• New Horizons, Manchester, NH.  
  Providing meals for those in need.
  

• New Life Home, Manchester, NH.  
  Christian guidance to enable women to become self-sufficient.
  

• New England Seafarers' Mission (offsite link), Boston, MA.
  Ministry to the the needs of ship crews visiting the Port of Boston.

  Caring for kids and families in need since 1900.
  

• Operation Christmas Child, Boone, NC.
  Distributing shoeboxes filled with Christian love to children worldwide at Christmas.
   

• Pilgrim Pines, Swanzey NH.
  Christian formation, recreational activities, and ministry opportunities for families, youth, and adults.
   

• Straight Ahead Ministries, Manchester NH.
  Reaching juvenile offenders through Bible studies, training, partnering and aftercare.
   

• The Gideons
  Distributing the Bible to hotels, prisons, hospitals, schools, colleges, military bases for over 100 years.

Our Missions Ministry Team meets monthly to oversee these efforts. Meeting minutes are posted below when available.
